“Sure Feels Like Love”: 2008.

which was by their request a “greatest hits” album. The only addition was the song that was to become Jimmy’s classic signature song, “I Wish You Peace”, which became a hit single
in December of 2007 and a hit video in December of 2008.
“The Singles”: 1986 to 2022.
Here are all the single releases in order. Nearly all the records on this list charted and over half hit No. 1 on the National AC and Top 40 charts.
“Forever and a Day” hit No. 1 and tied with Steven Tyler as the “most added” record in the country for 3 weeks in a row in 2011. “Just What I Need” was not only No. 1 on the National AC chart, but was No. 1 on the IMN AC and Country charts for 20 consecutive weeks, an IMN record.
“MLG” was the only song never on an album, but hit No. 1 on the STS National AC chart for 2 weeks in December of 2008.
All these songs charted on AC (Adult Contemporary) except for “Hard Ride” which hit No. 1 on the national Top 40 chart in 2012.
“Miserable Man” was the only Christian radio release, reaching the Top 5 in 2017.
“I Wish You Peace” has reached the Billboard Top 5 a number of times as a holiday release since its debut in 2007 and video release in 2008.
Epilogue – “Nobody Gets Out Of Here Alive”
2014 to current. Previously unreleased material.
Intended to be on a final album called “Too Close To The Sun”, but unless we decide to go vinyl, this will probably not happen.
“No One Ever Loved Me Like You Do, “I Do Again”, and “Proud” were written specifically for a Father/Daughter wedding dance”, a 50th wedding anniversary party and a Mother/Son wedding dance respectively.
“Too Close To The Sun” was written about a close friend who died too young, a take off on the legend of Icarus, who built wax wings so he could fly, but who came too close to the sun which melted his wings.
There are a couple piano/vocal demos that we never recorded, but we liked the songs so they’re here.
“A Leroy Morning” was written for The Leroy Foundation, an organization dedicated to animal welfare. Please visit theleroyfoundation.org for more information.
